  • The Meara Boughey Performing Arts Scholarship requires some type of VPA participation. The other two do not.

  • No.  Home-schooled students and students from neighboring communities are also eligible to apply.

  • No, though we hope that you will continue to to utilize your artistic talents and share your creations throughout your life

  • The entire application, including the recommendations, is done online through the VPA website:  https://vpafoundation.org/scholarships

  • The deadline to apply for 2027 scholarships will be in early May, 2027.

  • Winners will be announced at the Sherwood High School Senior Awards Night event in early June.

  • Scholarship funds are mailed directly to the school or continuing education program in which the winners will be enrolling.  Winners will be asked to provide the appropriate mailing address or contact information for the school or program, along with a student ID # to ensure that the funds are appropriated to the winners' student account.
