Our Voices for the Performing Arts Foundation fundraising campaign is underway and we are hopeful that we will be able to award significant grant money to promote and enhance the performing arts in the greater Sherwood community. We are pleased to announce that we will be accepting applications from teachers for grant awards this spring for the 2012-2013 school year.
In previous years some of our grants have funded plays, sheet music, musical instruments, costumes and storytelling workshops. Completed applications must be postmarked by Friday, April 20, 2012. Applications will be reviewed at our VPA board meeting and we will notify applicants by the first week of June.
