Immediate Need: Finance Director
The board of directors are looking for a dynamic, proactive person who sees the potential of the VPA to grow and do amazing things in our community. This person would fill the Finance Director position on the board and would include the following responsibilities. Please help us fill this position by referring potential applicants to us! The VPA is exploding with growth, and we are anxious to bring someone on board who can help us continue our forward momentum.
Finance Director Responsibilities
- Attend monthly VPA board meetings
- Chairs fundraising committee
- Organizes campaign for membership drive
- Sends solicitations to business
- Sends thank-you letters, and follow ups to donors
- Arranges presentations to community groups
- Research grant possibilities and/or works with Grant Writer
- Apply for grants as approved and solicited by the board
