Please join in the momentum created by the VPA to promote and sponsor performing arts in Sherwood. Your donation will directly benefit the community as it enables volunteers to produce quality concerts and programs in Sherwood, and teachers to present to students in schools. Your donation may even go toward scholarships which will help keep the passion for the arts alive in the next generation. You donations are tax deductible and if you donate to the Oregon Cultural Trust they will make a matching grant as well. In a nutshell here is what your donation will go towards:
- Awarding grants for Sherwood teachers for implementing performing arts into their curriculums
- Awarding scholarships to students who have been exemplary in the area of performing arts
- Producing benefit choir concerts in December and May
- Sponsoring and supporting musical productions such as the “Music Man” and “Annie”
Donations of any amount are appreciated, as are “in kind” donations and volunteer hours. Get involved, and support the VPA in anyway you can to “raise your voice for the performing arts”.
